My Vegan

When Jaeda Ng chose to locate her second My Vegan restaurant in Eagle Rock, the decision was easy. At her restaurant in Pasadena, she said, “many of my customers were from Eagle Rock.”

My Vegan does just what a great vegan restaurant should do. It surprises with its creative, Asian-inspired offerings, using familiar ingredients in new and delicious ways, whether you play it safe with vegan tacos or try something different, say, stir-fried vegan pork with Sriracha sauce and fried garlic.

I recommend the spicy eggplant combo, which comes with organic tofu, vegan egg roll, salad and brown rice, for only $11. Ms. Ng suggested I try the yellow curry; it was terrific. / My Vegan / 1759 Colorado Blvd. (at Argus Dr.) / Open Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
