On Saturday, March 31, 2012 Heritage Square Museum’s annual Vintage Fashion Show and Tea takes a look at the costume statements of the “Silver Screen”.

Beginning at 11 a.m., learn how fashion influenced Hollywood costuming, and how it in turn influenced fashion for several decades. With the museum’s historic Longfellow-Hastings Octagon House as the backdrop for the show, models will promenade in men’s and women’s vintage or period accurate reproduction clothing based on historical patterns. After the show, visitors may also sample items commonly enjoyed at an afternoon tea, view a vintage clothing display inside the Perry Mansion, and shop in our Museum Store or Vendor Market.

We thank Councilman Ed Reyes, Chado Tea House (Pasadena), Gavina Gourmet Coffee, Folkwear and the Perfume Station (Alhambra) for their sponsorhip of this year’s show. Sponsorship opportunties are still available. Contact the museum offices to find out how you can support this popular event.
