Highland Park Organization Offering a Cooking Class on Chocolate

W.T.I. Inc. is Offering a Cooking Class on Chocolate – The Food of the Gods

Prudence Boczarski-Daniel, master baker and WTI Officer, will explain, demonstrate, and conduct how to reveal the truly amazing qualities of chocolate. A discussion will include the nutritious components of chocolate and why this food is such a favorite ingredient in everything from soup to nuts. Prudence then will show just why chocolate’s incredible alchemical properties make it virtually the preferred constituent of most baked goods. Part of the demonstration will be showing participants how to put Ch’i or Conscious Light into food to alchemically alter it into a Life-sustaining foodstuff. Finally, Prudence will conduct participants in making some chocolate dishes that highlight Chocolate’s versatile properties, and then have them eat their creations. Find out what you never knew about chocolate on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 3pm to 6pm at 272 Wayland Ave. Highland Park (off York Blvd.). Reservations are a must as kitchen size is limited. Suggested tax-deductible donation is $17 per participant.

Some safety precautions: Only those over the age of 12 may attend the hands-on demonstration and conducting / Signing of liability waivers will be required before participation / Because the demonstration and conducting will take place in an operating kitchen, a hot stove and burners will be encountered — non-flammable mitts and hand protectors will be provided / Any accidental damage caused to the demonstration site will be the sole responsibility of the Class participant who was responsible.
