Lummis Day: Paul Livingstone’s Arohi Ensemble line-up 6/3
Paul Livingstone’s Arohi Ensemble line-up at this year’s Lummis Day festival will consist of five musicians, two more than we announced in the program booklet. The group, which performs a unique synthesis of classical Indian music and raga-based jazz, will include Paul Livingstone on sitar/fretless guitar, Shiela Bringi on bansuri flute, Peter Jacobson on cello, Dave Lewis on drums and Javad Butah on tabla. Based here in Highland Park, the group has toured throughout the world and just completed a set of dates on the east coast.
