Thank you for your interest in writing for the best publication in Northeast Los Angeles.
Guidelines:
1. content
a. must be original
b. must be local interest
i. hard news
ii. features
iii. opinion
c. no free articles covering any business- unless accompanied by paid ad
2. length
a. 600 words minimum
b. 800 to 1200 OK, more with prior approval
3. format & deadlines
a. all work must be e-mailed
b. send as part of message or attach as MS word or text document only
c. photos - 1 TO 2 MB max please
d. must be sent to: boulevardsentinel@gmail.com
e. all work must be received by the last Saturday of month
(really... check the calendar)

2. single line spacing between lines and
paragraphs
3. single space between sentences
4. byline "by" with a lower case "b"
5. word count at top of article
6. avoid ALL UPPER CASE headlines
