Opening
Sunny Side Up
Idan Klein says he “loves making people happy” and he is doing just that as owner and chef of Sunny Side Up at 2114 Colorado Blvd. (between Casper Ave. and Maywood Ave.) Mr. Klein, who trained as a chef in Israel, makes sure that everything is organic, healthy and fresh. Breakfast is served all day. (I recommend the eggs-and-cheese on a bagel.) Lunch and dinner include a variety of salads, sandwiches and a daily special.

Opening
UPS Store

UPS Store 7002 is new to Eagle Rock, providing mailbox rentals, package preparation and shipping and general office help. But Will Co, the franchi
se owner, is not new to the business. He has owned a UPS store in Atwater Village for two years and has wanted to open one in Eag
le Rock all along. This year, his wish was granted, when Mr. Co, a former banker, was awarded the UPS franchise for Eagle Rock. / UPS St
ore 7002 / 1751 Colorado Blvd (between La Roda Ave. and Argus Dr.) / Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.,
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Relocating
Julie Montenegro, State Farm Agent

After seven years at Avenue 57 and York Blvd. in Highland Park, Julie Montenegro, a State Farm agent, moved west on June 1, by nine blocks, to 4805 York Blvd. The moves gives Ms. Montenegro more space and a newly renovated office, while keeping her close to her customers. And that is key because, she says, her State Farm success stems from “love for my customers.” A Grand Opening celebration is set for Aug. 28, by which time signage and landscaping will be completed.
